of a NEW MARINE RESERVE AREA.1759 Hectare  (Parininihi Marine Reserve) off the 

Coast Of Pukearuhe and White Cliffs North of Urenui.

At the Heart of this Subsea Wonderland is the Sponge Garden of Pariokariwa Reef.. Rated as one of the Top Sponge
Spots in the World. About 50 Kms north of New Plymouth by Boat..It can also be Reached from Urenui in Good Weather.

Divers can take in the Flourishing Life Forms of Parininihi but... after Final Surveys and Gazetting, the area will be a
No-take Zone.

Taranaki Has a Beautiful Coastline.... that no one can faulter Especially for it's Surfing..
