With 208 Kms of Walkway Tracks you can pick a short or long Stroll of 30 - 90 mins strolling through Groves of Twisted and Stunted Kamahi Trees,and enjoy the Bird Life Tuis, BellBirds, Fantails and the sounds of Tumbling WaterFalls and Glistening Rivers.
Then there's the Pleasant Strolls on well Formed Tracks for the Serious Tramper,which wind down through the Uniqie Mountain Bush for about 2 and 1/2 hours to re-merge on to Egmont Road with Breath taking views,of Lush Forest of Rimu's,Rata,Kamahi,and Mountain Totara's
On a Clear day you can see Mount Ruapahu with Tangariro and Ngauruhoe Glowing White with Snowclad Slopes in the East of the Centre of the North Island.
